BD seeks Japanese investments for infrastructures

“The highest transparency of investments would be ensured,” he said speaking at a meeting with Japanese investors at the headquarters of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Tokyo, official at the ministry of Road Transport and Bridge said in Dhaka attributing to a message received.

The minister said Japan is a tested friend of Bangladesh. Japanese investment in road communications has accelerated economic development in Bangladesh, he added.
He urged the Japanese entrepreneurs to invest in the construction of roads, bridges, metro-rail and other infrastructures in Bangladesh.

Meanwhile, Japan has responded positively to the proposals for constructing two more monorail routes in Dhaka and Dhaka eastern bypass.
