formal entourage met with St. Petersburg Chamber. Mr. Dawn highlighted some key areas of opportunities for bilateral trade, business and innovation between Russia and Bangladesh recently.

Vice President of CIS-BCCI Mr. Akash seconded him with data and market dynamics through a presentation. St Petersburg Chamber’s Vice President Mrs. Lebedeva’s attended the meeting and later said that she was very positive on both the chambers’ catalyst roles to further develop business relationships deeper between the two friendly countries.

Director of CIS-BCCI and special representative of global printing and publishing industries Engineer Mehedi Hasan in an elaborate discussion regarding the education, printing and publications sector pointed out the opportunities the two countries can explore and collaborate on to promote academics, culture and heritage through opportunities uniquely afforded through such exercise.

At the end of the meeting CIS-BCCI President and Director of FBCCI Mr. Habib Ullah Dawn handed over a crest to the Vice President of St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industries along with his delegates. She reciprocated with publication documents and journals of the respective chamber to Engr. Mehedi as the International Director of Academic & Creative Publisher’s Association Bangladesh.

CIS-BCCI extended an invitation to the St Petersburg’s Chamber of Commerce & Industries for a corresponding visit to Bangladesh in 2018 to advance the progress from this meeting and for more bilateral business opportunities under the chambers. The Russian Vice President gladly accepted the invitation and said that her Chamber looked forward to the call with their business delegations to attend CIS-BCCI office in Bangladesh.
